Some people take rest for granted...
but for me, i take it as an advantage...
It started last wednsesday...
I"The beginning of a five day rest for me"
we went to mary hill to minister to a bunch of rich kids..
man! we we were there for hours!
we went home late that night....
and guess what... I got a sore back!
so the day ended up with me not going to work
Thursday came...
we again went to mary hill to minister to those kids
man! we we were there for hours!
we were there till 11:30pm...
we went home late that night....
I got the colds, the cough...
and guess what... I still got a sore back!
so the day ended up with me not going to work, AGAIN!
Friday came...
Still got the colds...
Still got the cough...
Still got the sore back...
but wait... there's more!
I got no voice!
Wow! what an amazing day!
so I ended up going to work but
just there to present a medical certificate so I can go home!
So that means I still didnt go to work that day...
I said to myself, wow! three unpaid days at work! and i got bills to pay...
My Drums... My Motorcycle... GOSH! Im in big trouble!
but ... here comes the good side of it...
I got to minister to people whom I wouldnt have ministered if I went to work...
I also had time to take advantage of a three day rest at home, sleping in my own bed! (I always sleep at the office)
And lastly, I had a longer time doing what's really important...
Ministring to others...
Resting is good, but working for God's advancement is way much better!
